Bolling’s North Fork Veranda

Bolling’s North Fork Veranda, located at 1715 River Road, is a unique open-air gathering place situated between the four walls of the former Salyer Radio Company building. The owners of the building, former Letcher County Attorney Harold D. Bolling and his wife, Mary, partnered with the City of Whitesburg to design a public outdoor seating area.

The historic open-air concept building is ideal for people to order takeout at downtown restaurants and safely eat their meals in a one-of-a-kind safe space located near the Kentucky River. In addition to a dining area, Bolling’s North Fork Veranda is an ideal place for community meetings, receptions, local art making or an intimate music space.
