Fishpond Lake ATV Trails

Around Fishpond you can find ATV access points. There 22 miles of beautiful legal riding trails around the lake that range from easy to medium difficulty levels. Tourism is working to extend these trails across Letcher County that are set to open summer of 2022.

Backroads of Appalachia

Backroads of Appalachia is a 501(c)3 with a passion and empathy for the Appalachian region driving economic development, job training and opportunity to the poverty stricken areas of Appalachia through tourism and motorsports. They have numerous riding trails for motorcycles, jeeps, sports cars, etc. that includes The Slingshot ride that goes from Letcher County over Pine Mountain to beautiful Kingdom Come State Park.

Mountain Motorsports Park

Eastern Kentucky has a very rich history in racing. Moonshiners use to pride themselves in having a fast car that could “outrun the fuzz.” The would often race on the backroads to see who the best driver was. This tradition still runs through their descendants’ veins and is very much still alive. Come to Isom and see for yourself!

The Kentucky Adventure Tour

A challenging 1000 mile self guided dirt, gravel and paved loop around eastern KY for street legal adventure/dual sport motorcycles and 4x4's. There are many different skill level trails that are made for a range of machines that include but is not limited to motorbikes, ATVs, Jeeps, trucks, etc.
